These photograms were created in my first few years studying at Rochester Institute of Technology. By utilizing the color darkroom process along with incorporating my own techniques and devices, such as mirror boxes and laser pointers, I set out to create various light drawings. Each becoming a unique print made in total darkness. The process incorporates trial and error, where the latent image is etched onto the paper and then processed through a machine. Knowing what will come out on the other side was always an alluring mystery, one that led to refinements but ultimately gave into the serendipity of image making without control.
